Wray's Graphics Lessons

The goal
My site here will be all about computer graphics. 2-dimensional. 3-dimensional. and while we're at it, we can get into the physics and philosophy. Computer graphics are lots of fun before and after some practice. I'll teach you how to make graphics in a 2D program, our good friend Adobe Photoshop 7.0+. It's not hard, so don't worry. I'll also talk about graphic design as a profession, how to use it in webpages, and how to really take advantage of presentations in Flash and Powerpoint. I'll go over ouching up photographs, tearing up photographs, color corection, and everything else you might want to know.

Graphics and me
I have been working with photoshop and 3D Studio MAX for 4 years now, but have a lot of people to thank for my skills aswell. I served as manager of the Southeast Raleigh High School (NC, USA) FIRST Team in the Graphics division. There, I learned how to manage 15 team members to create a full 3D rendered 30 second animation. My personal goal for the project was to make sure that whatever we made looked real and had timing that popped. It worked. Now that I've learned so much about advanced rendering in 3D, and has so much practice with it thanks to FIRST and everyone who was there, I can pull off 2D graphics and fake the same effects. I also give lots of credit to Doctor Ozone who is a pioneer in Photoshop creation, and by that I mean making nice graphics without having any photographs to work from. The Guru's network has tought me alot too, and soon enough I'll be writing my own tutorials for them. Lastly, I give thanks to the Southeast Raleigh web development team who I stayed with for 2 years doing graphics. The list goes on and on, but these were the most significant.
